A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENTS
To our Murdock families,
For our new families, welcome to the Murdock community. For our returning families, we're so glad to see you again. We hope you enjoyed fun-filled summer days. Can you believe it is already time to kick off the 2024-2025 school year?
PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. A strong PTA represents parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success!
Families, teachers and staff are the backbone of our strong and supportive community at Murdock. Family engagement is a long tradition at our school and one of its greatest strengths. The more you engage with the school community, the more rewarding your experience at Murdock will be. We encourage you to look for opportunities to volunteer and share your experience and talents. No matter your availability, we have a volunteer opportunity for you.
One of Murdock PTA's primary missions is to collaborate with school staff -- teachers and the principal -- to deliver programs that enrich and enhance the school's curriculum goals. We also work hard to build and strengthen our community by coordinating events that give Murdock families and students a chance to get to know each other outside of the individual classrooms.
Please contact our volunteer coordinator, committee chair, or any executive board member to inquire how you can use your talents and get involved here at Murdock Elementary!
Many thanks,
Andrew Mason & Surabi Reddy
