A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENTS
Dear Families,
Welcome back to our returning families! To our new families, welcome to the Murdock community! We hope you all enjoyed the fun-filled summer days, and it is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to get ready for an exciting and successful 2023-2024 school year.
PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. A strong PTA represents parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success! Families, teachers, and staff are the backbone of our strong and supportive community at Murdock. Family engagement is a long tradition at our school and one of its greatest strengths. The more you engage with the school community, the more rewarding your experience at Murdock will be. We encourage you to look for opportunities to volunteer and share your experience and talents. Small or big time commitment – there is a place for you!
One of Murdock PTA's primary missions is to collaborate with school staff - teachers and the Principal - to deliver programs that enrich and enhance the school's curriculum goals. We also work hard to build and strengthen our community by coordinating events that give Murdock families and students a chance to get to know each other outside of the individual classrooms.
Please contact our volunteer coordinator, committee chair, or any executive board member to inquire how you can use your talents and get involved here at Murdock Elementary!
Many thanks,
Amber Shea Hubrich & Andrew Mason
