Box Tops for Education

Help Murdock by helping us earn and receive corporate money! The effort is minimal but the impact is large. The Box Tops for Education program, along with other partner programs, have been a large part of funding the PTA budget.

The Box Tops program has undergone an overhaul this year. They are producing items that require you to scan your receipt within their app to earn funds. It's easier than it sounds!

First, the clips are still being accepted. Those little torn or cut stamps you've been collecting are still good. We submit them in bundles of 50, but will collect them anyway you wish to send them (collection sheet, in an envelope, in a bag, in any quantity, etc.). There is also a fun class contest per grade level, where the highest earning class gets a treat at the end of the year. Just tag your submission with grade and teacher for credit. Your child probably knows the cute white mailbox in the lobby of the school. They just need to drop them there.

To submit in the new format, you'll need to download the Box Tops app in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once downloaded, finding the school is easy by entering the address: 2320 Murdock Road Marietta, GA 30062

When you scan your receipt you have the option to give credit to your child(ren). After you add them once you don't need to do it again.

In the past, this program has earned the PTA $3,000 a year. The PTA uses these funds to show appreciation to all the staff throughout the year via catered lunches and other gifts, providing first aid kits to every classroom, hosting fun family activities like Screen on the Green and the Fall Festival, enabling cultural experiences through sponsored field trips and International Night, and much more.
