2022-23 PTA Year in Review
As we're nearing the final days of the school year, we wanted to take a look at all the programs we have been able to provide using the funds that come from our family memberships (from you gracious parents), as well as our corporate sponsors shown at the bottom of our weekly emails. A PTA membership does not require your time (although we would love to have you help out), but as shown below, your membership allows us to provide all of the wonderful programs to support our students and staff at Murdock!
Programs Implemented & Celebration of Honorees:
- Reflections Art Program
- Honoring Our Heroes
- Teacher Back to School Luncheon
- Teacher Appreciation Week with Lunch provided for Murdock Staff
- Bus Driver, Custodial, & Cafeteria Staff Appreciation Breakfast
- Holiday Luncheon for staff
- Birthday Book Club (purchased over 190 books for our Media Center!)
PTA Events:
- Popsicles on the Playground (For Kindergarten families)
- Fall Festival
- Winter Dance
- International Night
- Screen on the Green
Staff and Student Support:
- Paper and supply support to teachers and staff/Media Lab supplies
- Red take home folders for every student
- Grade Level Grants for supplies, educational materials as deemed necessary by each grade level teaching team
- Yearbook support
- Staff shirts for Orientation activities and first week of school and school spirit days
We had an amazing year, and it is all because of your support with your membership and with your time. Thank you so much!
